Hey well, ive settled in a little more here at uni in my halls, my room mate is really nice and ive made some good friens here..
Every night is night clubbing, which is exaghusting! but great fun. first night i danced with rosie and cain ( committie member) the next night i had a new friend called viki, shes on the same course as me, so we went out to the pub met 2 guys Paul and Sam and went clubbing with them and Viki's room mate called Natalie.
the next day we went all shopping to sainsburys.. and then we all had a meal together and the boys cooked haha! ..
today I met up with a great friend, kingman who lives not far from the uni. was so good to see him after all this time since my interview for the course. I hope to see him more while im here seems as he isnt too far away now.
i finally feel like im at home, and where i really want to be..
i cant believe i made it here..

OMG so its actually 2 days till i go to loughborough university!!! I cant wait to go, ive had 3 months holiday and so much has actually happened within those months! however, i havent quite finished the summer project, its not far off, and ive been working as hard as I can but.. it seems to be never ending!!!
Once I get to uni I will settle in and be able to get a job at the students union hopefully which will mean I will be able to AFFORD THINGS! Like... maybe a subscription to deviantart say! and hmm maybe a twilight/new moon poster to make me feel more at home in my dorm!
I will also start to enter projects to the Imagine FX.. and see if i can with any luck win!
I will also be doing a portrait of Robert Pattinson as commisioned..
I will perhaps get time after that to start reading eclipse..
OH YEAH there is also a freshers ball!! ahhh nervous!!

So far my work on here has been a little slow, but I have posted up my final major project final pieces up, which are editorials I did immitating an imagine fx magazine..
took me ages to do!

so bye for now and I will soon tell you what my uni life is like when I get there on Wednesday!

ok well the good news is that i now have Paint tool Sai on my brothers computer so i can actually do work whilst my laptop is quits!
But still need to get my laptop checked out, and if its broke im planning on buying on buying a laptop.
Trouble is, its hard to know what to get, i need one that can handle photoshop.. but Imac's are a bit dear.. so
does anyone know of a certain laptop that will be able to help me?

Woo! I cant believe I have my first little job. I have to design buisness cards and do illustrations for a website for a Hypnotherapy company! I just happend to be at the right place at the right time. Over my friends 18th birthday doo, at a resturant, her family were talking to me, asking what kind of things I do. I already have done many drawings etc for sarah, and they knew of my skills.
One of my friends relatives is the Manager of this Hypnotherapy company, and asked me if i took on commisons.
he asked me what was my going rate... but i couldnt really say, as ive never been taken on to do work for pay.
He offered me £20 an hour! 0_0...

lol im not sure on how many hours ill do but lmao!

My deadline is the 8th of September, as he would love to give out buisness cards then, but of course there isnt so much of a rush for the site, i think the cards need to be worked on first.

I will be doing my research and do my designs by the end of July, then ask him if he likes the designs then get them sent off to be printed for early - mid august... in time for September. ( Thank you kingman for giving me a guide of time)

My only problem is that my laptops bust, and i need to use my photoshop, i cant do it on my brothers pc, so i need to get my laptop looked at sharpish and see if its repairable, otherwise im going to have to dive into my savings for uni and buy a new laptop.
